Meet the Staff
Dr Jason Whetten
Dr Whetten grew up in Gilbert, AZ and graduated from Gilbert High School in 1990. After high school, he worked in banking for many years and earned a BS in Business Management. Dr. Whetten eventually left banking and attended dental school at A.T. Still University/AZ School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Mesa, AZ where he earned his DMD degree and a certificate in public health from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He joined Florence Family Dentistry in August 2008 and loves the wonderful people of Florence.
When not at the office, Dr Whetten spends time with his wife and three children camping, traveling and attending sporting events. He is an Eagle Scout and remains very involved in the Boys Scouts of America where he serves as a Unit Commissioner for the San Tan District.
Holly-Office Manager and Insurance Coordinator
I was born in Mesa, AZ but was raised in Florence. I graduated from Florence High School in 2001. After graduating from high school I attended Pima Medical Institute where I learned dental assisting. I worked for three years as a dental assistant before becoming the office manager and insurance coordinator for Florence Family Dentistry in 2004.
Whether it is our little girls dance recitals, or oldest sons soccer games, or playing chase with our youngest son, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three kids. As a family we love going to Pinetop, Mexico, and taking drives in the desert.
I enjoy working at Florence Family Dentistry and have made friendships that will last a lifetime.
Josie-Assistant
I grew up in Coolidge, AZ and graduated from Coolidge High School in 1998. After graduation I attended Apollo College where I graduated as a dental assistant in 1999. I LOVE what I do, however, I see myself being a dental hygienist in the future. I don't have a lot of free time, but the free time I have I spend with my family. I have two dogs Mister and Blue. I love to travel and taking pictures is probably one of my favorite hobbies.
Mandi-Assistant
I grew up in Apache Junction, AZ and graduated from Desert Ridge High School. I started assisting at the age of 18. I am the youngest in my family. I have two older brothers and amazing parents. My family always comes first. I enjoy doing outdoor activities such as hiking, quad racing, and fishing. My friends are also very important to me. I took dance lessons for about 10 years until I graduated from High School and entered the work force. I can be shy at times, but for the most part I'm very outgoing and easy to get along with. I love my job and I plan on going very far with it.
Kasey-Dental Hygienist
I grew up in Gilbert, AZ. I attended Mesa Community College where I graduated with my Associate in Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. I am committed to making each patient as comfortable as possible and strive to provide quality patient care. I have a cheerful personality and enjoy working in the dental profession.
I enjoy spending time with my family doing outdoor activities such as horseback riding, snowboarding, and staying at my family's cabin in Payson, AZ.
